After I spotted this, I went back to the website and repeated the steps above, and I can confirm that every time the basket is loaded, the product qty doubles and the subscription option is changed to monthly. At the order confirmation page, I noticed that the order had been changed when I got posted back from PayPal, and they had reverted it back to an ongoing subscription and put the qty back to 2 products.
I did not pay much attention to the basket, and completed the checkout. Next, I went and did the payment pre-auth steps in PayPal and got posted back to the checkout.
I then noticed that there were 2 licenses added to the basket, so I removed 1. I noticed that they try and get you to do a monthly subscription by default, so I corrected this and selected the one-month-only license option. Be careful when you order this - scammy UX tactics at point of orderīe careful when you order this, there are some black-hat UX techniques being employed on the site, and also the outcome that is advertised is not what I experienced.
